ACW is owned and operated by Robert Jenkins; a 1985 graduate of
Norwich Regional Vocational Technical School in Norwich Connecticut who
transplanted to Amelia Island Florida in 1991 with his wife of now 20 years
and 3 children. Robert is a self-taught artist, musician and craftsman with over
20 years of practical experience in a variety of trades related to the building industry who previously operated sole proprietorships Woodmasters and Jenkins Custom Woodworking before becoming incorporated in 2003. He has become well known by local builders, architects, designers, business owners and private homeowners to be one of the areas’ premier craftsmen.
Over the past 10 years we have built a strong referral base with a reputation for producing work which is technically difficult, unique or unusual. Our staff is normally comprised of Robert himself
and 2-3 part-time apprentices so as to maintain a high level of quality control with each and every
project. We currently are working to expand our customer base and can ship or hand deliver
anywhere in the continental US.
